My band consists of me and a drum machine. I am considering leaving the band as the drum machine and I are having creative differences.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think there will be a proliferation of recording artists each having their own small but loyal following. For example, my following consists of my self and my cat.
