Anything else...?
In 1992, I had a brain aneurysm and lapsed into a coma. I woke up a month and a half later after two brain surgeries; I was just a body unable to function on my own. I was hollow on the inside and I cried out for the Lord constantly, asking for some relief from my torment. As time passed and days became weeks, and weeks became years, I forgot about my cries for relief. All my obvious physical handicaps had disappeared over time, but when my wife became pregnant we knew we wanted our child to be raised in the way of the Lord rather than the ways of the world. It was at that time I descovered I had contracted Hepatitis C at the time of the brain surgeries. I was on the latest drugs that were extremely hard on my body and my life. While at the Bible study one day, I told my friends that the doctors had given me 10-14 years to live and that during the last few years I would need a regular caregiver. A member of the group anointed my head with oil, covered me with her prayer shawl and prayed for me. While I prayed I felt the Lord tell me, “Do not ask me if it is My will to heal you, just thank me for healing you.” Praise the Lord! I was healed.

I can read the Bible by myself today. The Lord will heal today just like he did in the Bible. It’s the same God today, the same Jesus, and the same Holy Spirit. God wrote the Bible through the pens of men (2 Timothy 3:16), and it is a terrible warning of Hell and an incredible promise of Heaven but the warning needs to be heeded. If you have not made Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior or you did once but are not walking with the Lord now, you are not born-again. The Bible says in John 3:3 “unless a man be born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” How can a person be "born-again" and find everlasting life? And what does God think about you?
