we are ice and nails a band from quezon city science highschool. we have been playing since 2002... from what started as a highschool project which consisted of more than 8 classmates... after the project the some of the classmates regrouped and added cris , a friend from the same school... the band which came to be known as reinhardt startd to try... cover songs that range from incubus, blink182, systm of a down, and other local filipino bands... alas the efforts were fruitlss until the group started playing old greenday songs, the one that at the time were up to their young skills... a year later the band moved on and startd playing a much varied spectrum of rock music including, slow, alternative, hardcore, pop and emo and still their highschool trademark punk. and a new name ice and nails... a year after originals surfaced and the band was experiencing a musical facelift as member's began studying classical, metal, guitar effects, scales, band's that people never heard of... adding humor to so much seriousness and a cut off from two members ... and then there were four from the originally 6 of what was left of the old ice and nails... switching instruments th band is still pj martinez on guitar ,vocals and keyboards and chief lyricist and composer... cris villarey as lead guitar and fellow arranger... bass line duties are handled by ben aganon and the drums are handled by cristoffer "petups" liquigan... now in college th band tries to implement various genres and styles in playing their live sets .... thanks for reading... enjoy some of some of our older songs here
