There's no an exact way to define the music played by the Wrong Way: it's neither hard rock, nor funk, nor pop, nor bossanova, but surely all these things together. It's not possible to define the path of the musical growth and what it inherited from who, even because this would just be a limit for the band, whose main finality is to experiment new sounds and new musical genres. This attitude comes from the various influences of the components of this band, and every production coming from this mixture transmits different moods to the listener: serenity, anger, madness, peace, with a narrow ribbon of tension that becomes evident in powerful rhythmic sections. All this is evident in the live exhibitions too, where the band tries to surprise the spectators, bringing them to different dimensions and registers. That's all... any other thing to say is left to the music.
Why this name?
The name was chosen by Il Jere' and dionisiaKo after with the advise of one friend.
Do you play live?
We've done some lives during these years, mainly in our local area (Bari and province). We like a lot to see other people singing our songs with us. They make a special ambient in which we feel satisfied... something ethereal. :)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Both the Internet and music distributed in MP3 format make music extremely easy to be distributed. Emerging bands like us can let their music be heared worldwide instantly.
Plus, thanks to the Internet, now I can widen my horizons, knowing new kinds of music and new bands that, even if not known worldwide, produce wonderful songs.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably yes, but only if we can have the independence that we need, and if we can continue to distribute our music freely.
Band History:
Wrong Way were born in the summer of 2003 after a project by Gianvito Rutigliano (Il Jere') and Domenico Simone (dionisiaKo), that come to the role of guitarists in the band. Soon after that Alessandro Salvatore (TheLegs) at the bass, Alessandro Spagnuolo (Spartaco) at the drums and Marco Dello Russo (Rkt) as the singer, have begun working with the band.
The various musical influences of the components converted in a mixed genre that we call miscellaneous rock. In our production we can find elements of funky, blues, metal and nu-metal, latin and eastern rhythms, swing and so on. In the first public demo CD, Illusioni, self-produced in the late 2005, we recorded four of our late works: Falso Andante, Panna, Notturno, Perche'.
