Menniz has been rapping since the 6th grade and has dreamed of running his own label from the beginning. This desire led him to the idea of setting up a home studio in 2001 and since then he has taught himself the art of Engineering and has mastered his delivery on the mic. G-N9NE, his long time friend and partner in rhyme has witnessed most of Menniz's growth first hand since he was there originally when they recorded their first mixtape "The Rebellion", which was originally released in 2002 along with rapper and friend Murda-H. After The Rebellion, the three went their separate ways.
He then put rapping aside for a few to master his engineering craft and form a new group AD (American Dream) which consisted of Menniz, LP, Effects, and E-Burna. The First AD mixtape (Not Sold in Stores Vol.1) was released in early 2004 and earned the group a huge local buzz. That same buzz from the first mixtape sold huge numbers of the second AD mixtape (Vol.2) which made it seem like the group was unable to be stopped. But as we all know with more love comes more hate and problems started to arise within the group, and that led to their eventual split by the end of 2004.
Although he was disappointed about the split, he was prepared not to let anything stop his grind. He steadily kept doing tracks while going through many life problems that would otherwise have drawn him away from his music, and at a time when he least expected it, he reunited with the two MCs he had orignially started with: G-N9NE and Murda-H. Mainly inspired by this reunion, he and n9ne decided to do a joint mixtape called Enter the Fire Vol. 1. This mixtape would go on to establish him a big buzz, and following that his first solo effort Menniz 2 Society Vol.1 officially put him on the underground map and proves that he is a force to be reckoned with.
Since then he has been producing for himeself, G-N9NE, and Sandy Nas, and also mastering the gutter flow and catchy delivery that is beginning to make him an underground legend in Massachusetts.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows artists a world wide platform to get their name and music out there, it is changing how artists are promoted.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
