Im a new man, in a new band, and I hope youll enjoy my songs.

I just updated this after being idle for about 4 years.
Why this name?
The bands name is Rumour Control
But for now, Im the band, I write all the songs and all the lyrics, including drums, bass and whatever else is neccesary.
Do you play live?
I do any open mic nights, I get serious air time at radios sometimes but nothing major yet.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
An interesting debate but I do feel strongly about the freedom to download material off the internet, whether paid of or not.

In the end, the music we make, is for the people, and if its good, youll get paid for it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah, if they conditions are right.
I want to play, and thats the first and foremost, but Im not about to be handled by sneaky corporate garbage, it should be fair to me and to my fans, and not just profitable.
Band History:
Its only me for now.
Only 3 years ago I really discovered my ability to write songs without being a bit embarrassed of them.

I have 45 written songs as of now....
and I declined 1 record label due to conflict of interests :)
Your influences?
As my early songs would suggest, I was heavily influenced by the foo fighters, queens of the stone age, nirvana, eagles of death metal and so on.

Grown into my 20s and achieved a better understanding of songwriting, playing ability and since my move to england, Ive felt more curious about much more alternative and experimental bands like Oceansize, nine inch nails etc.

I developed my own style, being the result of taking bits and pieces from all the influences ive had over the years.

Needless to say, with 60 songs under my belt, each with their own unique touch to capture the listeners imagination and cravings for quality music, Im pretty confident Ill be heard a lot more in the future.
Favorite spot?
Ive been all around the world since Ive been 9.
My time living in Taiwan has been amazing, with an emotional rollercoaster and many lyrical references to my time living there.

But nothing beats me living in England (Nottingham).
Where I met my life time friends who do nothing but get high and just sit and listen to everything I create, and of course, support me haha.

At the moment, I am in the US and its a pretty chill place to get inspiration.
But I miss home.
Equipment used:
I have my acoustic for any immediate performances or for chillout sessions.

Once a band will be formed, Ill take our my secret weapon.
Anything else...?
Well not much else to say.
I hope you like my music, and dont be shy to leave a comment and ask me to check out and review your music.
I am a musician myself and reviewing music is def a passion to have.

Thanks for reading this,

Rock on.
