First and for most I am not in a band. I make beats on my own. I just do it for fun. I am currently in High School, and am looking to go to school for Recordin Arts. I love making music on the PC.
Why this name?
DSKIII is my nickname and what I been called in the music world.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It changes it so much. Anybody can hear anyone's music if they have an internet connection. It's amazing.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Im only in High School. I dont konw how to answer that question yet.
Band History:
I really have been making beats for about two years. Everyday I get more and more serious about what I do. I do it for a hobby for now and I have fun doing it.
Your influences?
When I was younger I was really into Rap. Thankfully I am now mostly out of that. I am now really into Matisyahu. For anyone who has not herd of him, check it out! Also I really like any kind of music that has a good beat. A song with a bad beat is worthless.
Favorite spot?
I have to support my hometown Gorham, but I would have to say I would have to say Mattapoisett, MA would be my all-time favorite. It is a very quite and peacful place.
Equipment used:
To make my beats I use Fruity Loops 5 and 6 producers Edition for Windows. I also mess around with Garage Band on MAC. Soon I will be moving over to Apple and will be working more with Garage Band and staring to work with ProTools software and Interface
