Fools


The fool's smile
while their best plans are laid
With Faustian like covenants,
their cold blood the wage

Wretched fingers reach to prizes
just beyond their grasp
While the foul dragon's deceit
exceeds their deflated lungs last gasp

Misery loves misery
and that old snake lusts for company
As itching ears crave his sweet dark lies

Man's wisdom betrays him
while hell accepts and engulfs him
And in his horror goes Satan's delight
..................................Goes Satan’s delight

Abba's Truth was given
with the Word's wisdom delivered
Through simplistic and child like faith

Man's wisdom made foolish
by God's Love given freely
Through the blood covered
hope of His grace.... (Hope of His grace)
