It's just me doing some songs that I wrote outside of my band. Or else some of these songs are my band's songs, but are done differently.
Why this name?
I chose it because it is my name.
Do you play live?
I play live with my other band Crankpin. I love it.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It lets me make little songs and have people listen to them. However, it also makes the recording industry very nervous, which is not such a good thing because they are powerful.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'd have to have a good lawyer...and it would have to be a sweet contract where they basically give me money and I owe them nothing...
Band History:
I was born like 19 years ago...about 8 years ago I started playing guitar...started writing songs a few years ago, and I've been getting slightly better at it since.
Your influences?
I'm sort of into a little of everything...mostly I'm into bands that write great pop songs lately, Counting Crows, Weezer, Coldplay, but I like other stuff as well, Tragically Hip, Tool, A Perfect Circle.
Equipment used:
I use a Genexxa mic (33-3001). My guitars (a peavy predator and an acoustic fender) and my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amp.
