The name of the band is Blank Stare, and I am located in Santa Cruz, California. I am always working on new material and am currently working at a recording studio (gadgetbox.net)
Why this name?
Not really sure... Seems representative of life sometimes.
Do you play live?
I am currently looking into the possibility of live shows.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
MP3s lower our standard of what sounds good. I love the sound of vinyl and want to get another record player.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Who knows.
Band History:
Was born. I'm a beginning musician looking to constantly improve my song-writing and musicianship.
Your influences?
Iron and Wine, Nirvana, Jack Johnson, The Faint and anything else I've listened to I'm sure.
Favorite spot?
I love my hometown, Santa Barbara, California. Santa Cruz is great too.
