It is a stretch to call me, my son, Shea Springer, and assorted aquaintances a band. But, we will post music of a wide range of styles periodically. The fact that the performers shift keeps the music fresh. And Shea and friends are excellent musicians. Currently, we are recording music that revolves around reggae and dance hall styles. Fusion with other styles is a big part of what is going on.
Why this name?
What band?
Do you play live?
Me Rarely. My son, frequently. He recently played a show with the Marley Brothers (Bob Marleys sons). Some of our friends play live, others don't.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has made music more fun for dreamers, and less fun for record companies.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Not a goal of mine. My son would, as long as it didn't interfere with finishing college. I'm sure that many of our friends would.
