SoundClick artist: Oberhofer - page with MP3 music downloads

I'm just a guitarplayer - the tracks I have at Soundcklick are all based on jam tracks from the LPF (www.lespaulforum.com) or from the Aussensaiter (www.aussensaiter.de) guitar forums.

Do you play live?

I play live in a hard rock coverband, the MAD DOGS (www.verruecktehunde.de). Every time I get on stage with my band is a special moment for me. Nothing else feels as good as playing in front of the audience.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

The internet makes it so easy to share music with people all around the world, this is one of the greatest things ever!

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Why not? ;-)

Your influences?

My main influences are guitar players like Al DiMeola, Steve Lukather, Steve Vai, John Sykes, Richie Kotzen, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Gary Moore & John Petrucci. If I would try to make a list, it would be endless....
