Hybrid Band from Istanbul / TURKEY
Why this name?
The name "Cats In Practice" was shaped in our minds, while we were touring a passage of shops, just looking at some little cat figures on the shelves. So it was the right time right place... Pýnar and Mert are actually cat-fans too.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We think the global rage of music is one of the results of mp3's and internet.
Band History:
Cats In Practice was first formed in early 2001 by Mert Ertunc and Pinar Gunay Buyukkara. Performed as a live music band with 2 cover projects between 2003 and 2006. During this period, C.I.P. worked on their own songs and demo recordings. In 2008 they started to get together their old and new recordings.
