Jason Soroski is an independent Christian singer/songwriter/guitarist based in Katy, TX.
Do you play live?
Of Course! Anywhere! An artist writes and records mostly alone, so best part of playing live is interacting with the people hearing the music, and allowing ministry to happen.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet allows people like me to have their voice heard anywhere in the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It all depends on the label and what the relationship would be. The best part of being indie is playing what I want to play, keeping my own schedule, and seeing my family as often as I want. I would hate to sacrifice that to "get big" or to simply recieve more airplay.
