ALVADERCHY hails out of Bronx NY and moved to CT for a change of scenery. His fire lyrics and genuine talent brings the rap game to a whole other level of creativity. If BIG and PAC had a spawn DERCH would be it.
Why this name?
My nickname has been Alvaderchy for as long as I can remember. My close friends call me Derch. I have been writing forever. Now its time to share my lyrical genius so that the world knows that I am here and the next generation of Hip Hop can challenge themselves to be better than me, Alvaderchy the Great.
Do you play live?
Whenever I can I do live music i.e. freestyles, battles, open mics, cyphers. Just check my show locations at www.myspace.com/dcfproductions
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is like the wild wild west (WWW) LOL! It is untames, undiscovers, misunderstood, and puts fears in many people. It is just another resource to get my music out there.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I am already signed to a wonderful indie label...DCF Records. Their professionalism, their consistency, their loyalty, and fairness is all I need. If they get picked up by a major label or if they crush all the major labels..I am with them for the ride till the wheels fall off.
Your influences?
Life is my musical influence. I absorb my surroundings, my experiences, Tupac, Biggie, the streets, stereotypes, knowledge, and everything else life has to offer and regurgitate it.
Favorite spot?
Where ever DCF is at.
