The Gazaway Mountain Boys formed in late 2005 in Reno County Kansas. They got their name after traveling to a jam on Gazaway mountain in western Arkansas. One of the members found the site so exhilarating that he took the mountain's name for his surname. This tight bond with nature shows through in their Hillbilliesque vocals and instrumentals.
