Kris and Roz is refreshing R&B talent out of Little Rock, AR. We have voices that are unique and we write/arrange our own music.
Why this name?
Our band name is simply named after what people call us for short Kris (Kristine) and Roz (Rosalyn).
Do you play live?
We play live over our instrumentals and have performed at various bar and grills in the Little Rock/Hot Springs, AR and Memphis, TN areas. Currently, we're still looking for gigs.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has definitely changed the music industry for the better because bands can now get exposure on a faster, global scale.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
We would absolutely sign with a major label. In fact, our music is being sent to various A&R record execs through our talent agents Talent 2K.
Your influences?
Our major influences on our sound are Al B Sure, Janet Jackson, Teddy Riley, Sade, Changing Faces, Yolanda Adams, and Toni Braxton.
Favorite spot?
Our favorite city is Little Rock because that's home and we as Arkansans are so friendly and down-to-earth. Outside of Arkansas, we love Los Angeles. It's so sunny and breezy--wonderful for allergy sufferers like us. :)
Equipment used:
We only use our instrumentals, voices, and a mic.
Anything else...?
We just want people to see that Arkansas has talent just like any other state and we want to put Little Rock on the map for something positive. We're not gang-bangers!
