DRK, Dark Rainey Knight, the lastest rapper from the streets of Shaolin. He slays his competition with his hard edge rhymes and thought-provoking lyrics.He writes and produces his own joints.
Why this name?
First of all, I'm Dark. Secondly, my last name is Rainey. Lastly, I use my microphone like a sword when I'm slaying other MCs. DRK are my initials, which also spell out the word dark. Be prepared for the storm.

Wherever I can show off my talents.Rappin on stage or in the park. I luv what I do.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
If it wasn't for the internet only my friends and family would hear my music. Now the world can access it. So it gives an artist a chance to reach people that they would not normally be able to reach. You can stay right in your own hometown and somebody in Japan could be bumping your music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hell yeah.DefJam/Shady/Aftermath definantly.
Band History:
I'm survivng life in the Ghetto and I'm still breathing. I'm writing everyday and recording every weekend. The plan is to get my word out and see what kind of response I get on the Internet and then start exploring other avenues. I started out rapping since I was twelve but its been the last year and a half that I started to focus steadily on it. I use to be in an Acoustic Hip Hop Band. It was me and this guy Mr. Fai. He use to play an acoustic guitar while I rapped. It was terrible. But now I put together all my stuff at home on my computer and burn cd's for people to listen to.

2pac, Eminem, OutKast, Redman, The Roots, Blackstar, DMX, 50 Cent, D-12, Ice-T, Ice-Cube, NWA and Wu-Tang.
