Why this name?
Out one night with friends and got back to mine spinning on the decks... A close friend of mine called me rambo as I had a tie around my head! :) so from then on they just reversed my real name(Omar) = DJ Ramo was born!!
Do you play live?
Yeah a fair bit at clubs in Kent and some private parties mainly at my home!!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I personally think it breathes new life to the industry... There is certainly a lot more potential out here in the big cloud.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I am signed but i am available for mastering and new releases under other labels, dont hesitate to get in touch, my remixes are unique also :)

DJ Ramo, is from a truly Old Skool and underground dance music generation that has been influenced by artists like: Aphex Twin, DJ Rush, Carl Cox, LTJ Bukem, Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson amongst others, these influences sprouted seeds at the tender age of 12 years old to learn how DJ.
After becoming addicted, and playing out at various underground parties, (mostly illegal when he was 18 of course!), he began to explore how to produce music at 16 years old. He started out by producing drum & bass, and branched into techno and even UK garage! He is a truly versatile producer, highly capable of producing and remixing anything.
After many years of learning and playing, he decided to form the label 66Khz Productions, based in the UK, to release his own tracks but has quickly decided to release others along side his own tracks after discovering some great talents.
There are some truly unique sounds on show; he combines different beats from different genres, and organic sounds from real instruments and plugins. If you have not heard his music, you will enjoy each and every track as they journey from past to present effortlessly, bringing today's dance music listener a peek into the past with the more familiar elements of today's techno sounds.
The live DJ sets are great also.
