The Arcanes are a revolving group of songwriters/musicians brought together by solo artist Ed Billeaud to play and record songs that may fall outside the folk-rock protest style of Ed's solo work - i.e. more commercial type stuff! We play a wide range of material, from rock to ballads to country, but always with an emphasis on classic musicianship and solid songwriting.
Why this name?
It pretty much defines the group.
Do you play live?
We sometimes play live dates, but only rarely.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Gives all us indies a way to connect and hopefully get our music heard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes.

Everybody good from the 50's up to the present.
