Band History:
I started out freestyling in high school and I was passionate about hip hop. Once I got to college i didn't rhyme as much but I still had this old yamaha keyboard. I decided to take lessons and everything just took off from there. My interest blossomed into loving jazz music and classical music by Ravel and Bartok. I then purchased a multi-track recorder and just brought it back to an electronic thing and tried to combine everything.
Your influences?
Honestly, I love sooooooooo much music. I absolutely love Sigur Ros. Tarentel is a loop based band that inspires me greatly. My interest in folk melodies comes a lot from Bela Bartok. Plus, I am a sucker for some real good R&B like John Legend or Jill Scott. I love it all man.
