Welcome to my music page here on SoundClick. As I continue recording I just finished the release of my eighth CD "Streets and Beats".
I have begun recording on my ninth project with a change of style. I am going to chase a mix of New Age and Rock to come up with a sound such as early Pink Floyd, or Tangerine Dream.
I will continue to post new songs here on this site as they are finished.
My music is all instrumental rock and I write and perform all music on each track. My music has been said to be a mix of early Journey, Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons, Rush and Tangerine Dream. Weird mix I know but I never know how a song will turn out until I get to working on it.
I hope you enjoy some of the tracks I have posted from my CDs, I have made them all free for you to download. You can email me at studio1@surfnorthwest.com with any comments.
Beginning in 2004 I released my first CD called "Yesterday Pass" which was a collection of songs I wrote while playing in Rickashay. Since then there have been eight other CDs released with my music with the ninth to be released in March of 2009. My style has started to move away from hard rock more into New Age (I hate that term) or Alan Parsons type music.
I hope you can take a moment to check out some of my music and post comments with any suggestions harsh or otherwise. My days of being in the limelight are way over and I simply have songs coming out of my head everyday, until that gift from God stops I will continue with my love of music and record my ideas.
Regards, Surf

Do you play live?
Don't play live anymore because I just don't have the time and there is no other place I would rather be than with my family here at home.
I might however do I gig with friends from time to time but really just spend time writing music and recording as a hobby at home.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet with the ability to download music, burn CD's and essentially create your own collection has taken away the profits to the musician who might of otherwise started a band and made CD's for profit. The only people making money anymore are the record labels and big bands on tour. I think sites like this will become the norm in the next 5 years.
