Im 21 years old student from Slovenia. I produce music in my free time using varous software. I produce all kinds of electronic danceable music, but mostly trancy style.
Why this name?
My handle derives from and word "excess" which means an overcome, and indeed, my music was an overcome product of my spare time evolving into a true project, to which I spent more and more each day.
Do you play live?
I have never played live. I have tried to mix some mp3 with DJ software at my place to a great audience... myself :)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it promotes less known authors, it is a great sourrce of information, but I don't think it kills any sales... It boosts them.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Ofcoure I would, some $ would always be wellcome.
Band History:
I started in 1996 with tracking programs... but in 2002 I got somenow hardware and I switched to more hi-q stuff. I produced dance/happy hardcore with a touch of trance all till 2000, then i switched toward more mellodic trance stuff.
Your influences?
My influences are wery various. All the way from 80's hi-nrg to 90's dance. But more recent influences are Mario Lopez, Blank & Jones, Ferry Corsten to name most obious ones.
Favorite spot?
I really love the feel of France. The decadency, glamur, baroque of their expression, language, musical expressions. It is a wonderfull country, the beauties of Paris are imense.
