Since 1990, silk has been involved in the music business as a singer/ multi-instrumentalist/ songwriter and has recorded three albums and two singles. He spent the last two years putting togher a Magazine called smooth underground which has yet to be released, over six years as a cook instructor,worked at a car dealership, wrote three movies, working on two videos, and some stand up comedy. He wrote a book (dope game) that he is fond of. He has designed ten layouts for his own clothing line He has also had brief stints as a bartender, waiter, and/or lounge rapperr. He has appeared in ten rap shows around the mid-west.
