Glasgow based Abel Soul have been recording together for a few years now and felt the time was right to get some tunes 'out there' for public consumption.

The core of Abel Soul are Robert Wilson, Brian Stewart (Boxer) & Mark Porter (Potsy), although we are always open to others getting involved.

Robert & Potsy met back in the early 1990's when Robert made an ill-fated attempt to become the singer for a band, in which Potsy was playing. Turns out Robert couldn't sing. Anyway, DJ meets keyboard player and they discover a mutual love for electronica. A year or so later, they bump into each other in a pub and decide to hook up to see if they can knock out some tunes. They've been doing this (with varying degrees of success) ever since.

Robert later met Boxer through a mutual pal and, after hearing this hugely talented, silver-tongued genius playing guitar and singing at one of many parties held in Robert's house, asked him to get involved.

The result is the delicious assortment of squelchy musical goodness presented here for your listening pleasure.
