the band is back down to its original two members (Todd and Cheston), save for a cameo appearance or two by other local talents. we are on hiatus until our benefit gig at The Music Cafe in May. in the meantime, Todd is working on a heavy metal project that has yet to be named.

we are a progressive, instrumental band from columbia, missouri. our influences like surf, metal, jazz, and classical bleed through into our music.
Why this name?
guitar = shotgun. drumsticks = katana.
Do you play live?
we love to play live in columbia... and that's about it.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it allows people to spread their music (and to have music spread to them) without delay. It also allows for easy online purchasing of CDs and merchandise, and to keep immediate track of a bands' up-and-coming shows, albums, etc. It's a great way to get recognized, everyone who has a copy of our mp3 sends it to 2 friends, and they send it to 2 friends, and so on.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

after a long hiatus, we have returned in part.
Your influences?
crazy fast shit, crazy heavy shit, crazy melodic shit, crazy complex shit. some sh*** is just more fun to play with than other shit!

Equipment used:
5 piece sonor drumset w/ hi-hat and ride, 80's style 6-string guitar (with many pedals and effects), fender 4-string "ghettofied" bass, eurorack 8-track mixer, tascam porta02 4-track recorder, and various microphones.
