I'm DJ AJ, aka Cognition. Most of the beats on here will be from me. I'll probably put vocals over them because i am paranoid about sh*** getting stolen. Umm, I am a member of BAP, read down and i have all the bigger members mapped out.

Why this name?

Eh, it's not really an official name yet. DJ AJ is what most people call me when I'm messing around but one day I came up with Cognition, who knows what it'll end up being though.

Do you play live?

Nah i'm just beginning, been producing for about a year and a half.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

In someways it opens the doors for more people to become apart of the music industry, but at the same time lowers the standard of music because of all the people.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

It's a dream.

I am apart of BAP... Broke Ass Productions. Out of Kokomo, Indiana. We have a myspace so just look for it on there.

A lot, Kanye, Dr. Dre, Just Blaze, Neptunes and others as far as producing..

Eminem, Game, Dre, Chamillionaire, Bun B, Joe Buddens, Royce Da 5'9". I have a lot of influences as far as Artists go.

Favorite spot?

Kokomo will always be my favorite spot

Equipment used:

I have a M-Audio Radium 49 Key USB Keyboard. I have two turntables and a mixer. Within the week I'm FINALLY getting monitors. A DJ stand for the turntables is on the horizon as well. I also use Reason 3.0 for my production.
