SoundClick artist: Xenogenocide

Howdy!

Please post a message on the message board if you have listened to any of my songs and give me an honest opinion on what you think about my music.

Why this name?

It started off as an online nickname which I used at that age of 13 called 'Xenon', and later on it changed to 'Xenogen' and then to 'Xenogenocide' which I found out that it could also mean "Alien Genocide".

Do you play live?

Nope, I wish.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It revolutionises the way we think, the way we talk and the world we live in. It's also easier to transfer data.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yes, to gain promotion for the company in return for some sort of payroll.

Band History:

Not much. All I can say is that I started playing guitar at the age of 12 and worked my way into plugging it into my PC and getting hold of some decent recording software - Namely 'fruity loops'.

Now I'm using Cubase SX 3.

Your influences?

I have a lot of musical influences, starting from classical music from the 1600's and 1700's, 70's rock 'n' roll, to 80's bay area thrash, to 90's Groove metal, Goregrind and Death metal.

Favorite spot?

Too many cities to choose from.

Equipment used:

USED TO BE: A standard Squire Strat with a Korg AX100G distortion box.

NOW: An Aria Pro XL with a Zoom G2.1u pedal.

I also use Cubase SX with EZDrummer (and the Drumkit from hell expansion) and Amplitube 2.
