How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Freedom and bringing the world to the individual musician. Singers and songwriters from all over the world can now enjoy a truly global audience. They can now reach live into anyones home around the globe, audiences can now receive live entertainment, real time interactive concerts from truly fantastic artists right in their own home. This has opened up a whole new era and a new breed of performer, the live online entertainer. I have just written a book on the subject of live online performing available at n-a-n-c-e.com great for aspiring singer songwriter musicians wanting to break into the msuic business.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably, depending on the deal, I'd be a fool to say no in this business.
