Anna Becky was raised in the capital of the Blues, Memphis, TN. After playing around the local Memphis music scene, Anna-Becky set her sights west and moved to L.A. to pursue her singing career with a new added element: songwriting. Love carried her up to San Francisco, where she met guitarist Gawain Mathews and producer Ben Yonas, who helped her craft her debut album, "My Personal Revolution." "I have deep feelings that I want to express and share with others; this album has given me the chance to express the culmination of years of feelings that I have turned over and looked at many times in my life. I think, that on this album, I have allowed these feelings to settle into a home, if you will. The experience has been liberating for me, theraputic even."
