Hello. I am Spartanis. A Composer from Australia hoping to share his music for all. There is not much for me to say but my music usually revolve around movie scenes.

Ever since my passion of movies and the music behind each scenes, i developed the taste of making my own. Of course, I do a few alternative songs. Bit of rock, bit of pop.. or even a "ode" to some of the classics music from famous band 30+ years ago or so.

I have an amzing vision in my mind. and that vision enables me to create music in my dream. Thus in turn, i transfer my dream music into reality.. for you to listen......
Why this name?
Well I often spent many hours pondering how to come up with my band name. I couldnt think of nay but my nickname i used on the chat lines. Spartanis is really a merge between Spartans and Vangelis. Of course, Vangelis is my favourite artist, as for Spartans, I have no idea. I think maybe at the time I was interested in the Spartan history.
Do you play live?
At this stage no. I havent played live since I started pursuing music 6 years ago.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it changes very much. Sadly mp3 allows piracy with ease. But I personally beleive there is a way to prevent piracy..
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes I would.
Your influences?
oh lets see now.. Vangelis, Danny Elfman, Enya, Bono, Phil Collins to name a few bands that influenced me.
Favorite spot?
My dad's farm
Equipment used:
a computer
Anything else...?
Yes. it would be interesting to note that I myself is born deaf in both ears due to Rubella. I have sustained a 95% loss in both ears.

It may seems weird for a deaf man to develop passion of music. Not so, it seems natural. I beleive it is the luxury of sounds that we all take for granted, that i take pleasure in.

I have my own motto that sums it all up:

"If Beethoven can do it, So can I"
