Band History:
For decades, the garages of suburban America have been busy laboratories for creative musical expression. Amidst the sprawl of shopping malls, parking lots and middle-class subdivisions, Emmett Brown started their journey like thousands of other groups. Although it's been awhile since their garage days, Emmett Brown still speaks to a young suburban population thirsty for music that's long on meaning and short on pretension. The three brothers that make up Emmett Brown (Will Cote - Vocals/Guitar, Dan Cote - Drums, Charles Cote - Bass/Vocals) craft tunes that are energetic and infectious.

Attempts to describe the Emmett Brown sound range from a mixture of Nirvana and REM to a three piece powerhouse that sounds like Peter Murphy joined the Beatles backed by late 70s-era Rush. While the unique sound of Emmett Brown may be difficult to categorize, the band's songs are not easily forgotten. Emmett Brown has an innate talent for writing lyrics and melodies that leave you humming long after the music stops. Check out the guitar and drum-laden "Relax", the addictive vocal harmonies of "Cover Girl", or the honest introspection of "Superman" and you'll see what we mean.
