Why this name?
Being a Country Music fan and a fan of Johnny Cash the I Walk the Line song came to mind one day while listening to Christian Rock and it hit me, what side of the line do I want to walk. The answer was simple, while not always possible, the side of the line that My Savior Jesus has drawn.
Do you play live?
Presently working as drummer for Bob Summers and as a vocalist, guitarist for The RCR Band
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
You bet it does. I can't begin to count the albums I have bought over the years to have only one good song on it I like. Being able to purchase singles and creating your own album should force groups to be more creative. But then it could force some to be more commercial depending on what you like. It isn't easy to find albums anymore like those done by The Beatles, Cream, Fogerty, Brook n Dunn etc where every song is listenable.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Nah... God, family and life are too important for that.
Your influences?
The Beatles, John Fogerty, Eric Clapton, Vince Gill, James Burton, Brian Lonbeck, Elvis Presley, Classic Country Standards and Modern Country Music, Blues... Ringo Starr is my favorite drummer for his metronome like back beats.
Favorite spot?
Claremont, Calif..
