SoundClick artist: CloakOneAudio - CLoak One Audio, CloakOneAudio productions. Electronica and Hip-Hop for the soul, I guess...

Well, I've been in the music composition scene for about 10 years now. Not until the last 3 years was I ever interested in hip-hop/electronica production. I've started Cloak One Audio in the efforts of establishing a production company and also to gain some recognition for local underground artists. Most of my music is made via computer-based software and MIDI. Electronica and Hip-Hop are my two main affiliates but I am tuned to ALL genres of music, and yes, even country....

Why this name?

Well I got the name Cloak a long time ago when I used to roam the streets. I was devious and hard to catch/see...hence the name, Cloak...This being my nickname and now my DJ name, Cloak One Audio seemed simple and appropriate for a production label..

Do you play live?

Not naymore, I used to DJ electronica but those days are long gone...

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Mp3's..Our little way of sticking it to the man....

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

It all depends on the finer details. But I would like to be a major label rather than be signed to one...

Your influences?

My main influence on music would probably be ambience...Not just ambient music, but pure, ambience in this world. It just makes me think of all the sounds I can put together in harmony...
