Singer, Songwriter, Jay Santa was raised in Chelsea, Massachusetts, a small suburb just outside of Boston.
Jay's style of music can be classified as contemporary rock with punk-ish undertones. His lyrical style can be viewed as cutting edge with messages that most people can relate to. Jay's real name is Jay Santagate so he dropped the gate. Santa is also his nickname in high school.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
"Technology definitely is changing the face of the music industry. We need to get more corporate sponsors involved to give bands a revenue stream to build upon." Jay expressed recently.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
"Hell yeah, as long as the deal gets my music heard by more people(and I retain at least 60% of the publishing rights.)" Added Jay.
