Why this name?
BackGround was chosen because I as a producer would prefer to stay behind the scenes and allow the music and the artist compliment each other and together bring out some hits and keep the focus of our listeners strictly on the music.
Do you play live?
No. I deal mainly with digital music production. I have perfomed live before and its a feeling i can't describe.!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has made it easier for unsigned artists and the "underdogs" to make a mark in the music industry. It has given people like me a gateway to show our talent and to be heard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No. I would rather insist on producing for artists from all record labels.
Band History:
This movement is mainly concerned with music making, spawned from earlier musical endeavors (under another moniker), which gave birth to two full length albums-("Tha Poet", "Roscoe's Candy Shop") and one compilation album-("Da Mixtape - It's a Wrap!") in Copenhagen DK.
Now, BackGround Music is in its toddler stages in the U.K, using its humble beginnings to perfect the craft of music making.
