We make electronic pop music and more. It's catchy, it's homegrown, and it may even be amazing. Take a listen & spread the word.
Why this name?
'Cardioid' is a type of microphone. Also, 'cardio-' relates to the heart (our songs are generally about love or lack there of, and Wonko the Sane has had open heart surgery), and '-oid' is the suffex of android (robots and electronic music go together so well).

Two man collective, both formerly of indie pop-punk band That Was Yesterday.

Equipment used:
Casio CTK-481 Keyboard to an M-Audio MidiSport UNO, into an Apple eMac running GarageBand 2.0. On some newer tracks, we use a Realistic Stereo Mixing Console, running a Shure Prologue mic through it, and a DOD Bass30 Processor, through which is played a Brice 6-string bass.
