Chop Chop
Our life is moving in a very fast pace. Nobody has time to listen to anyone else because everyone is far too busy with him/herself. People might think that there're happy but they aren't. The moment they smile or even laugh again, they'll realise that. Our goal is to bring that smile back to people's lives. And we thought the best way to that is to pack some humour into a one-minute-song.
Why this name?
My recent work included 24 children. Do I need to explain more?
Do you play live?
We don't play live yet, but we're working on it.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Instead of crowded CD shelves (like I have) everthing is neadly stored in the computer. Saves a lot of space.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Are you kidding! No way, they want to have far to much control over your work.
Band History:
Gita & Glenn like adventures and Indian Ragas. That's why they both studied classical music in India where they'd meet and later got married.
Gita comes from the theatre scene (www.Gita-Pattison.com), Glenn from the world of folk music. Together they do nonsense songs which they enjoy very much.
