I'm a hip-hop and electronic music producer. I'm all about keeping hip hop real, and I'm all about fighting the direction hip hop is going on the radio these days!
Why this name?
I was dubbed 'Shallow Hands' by a fellow artist.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The mp3 takes the power of music out of the hands of corprations. Now artists have more control over how they get their music to people, and I'm all for that. Share over the internet, and go see bands live, it just makes sense really.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'd be getting ahead of myself if I was thinking about record deals.
Band History:
Started writting beats and songs in 2002 and haven't looked back. I'm still in the 'honing my skills' stage as a music artist, but I'm always improving! It's nice that each beat/song is better than the last. I started out with 4-4 music like trance, house and techno. Now I write more hip hop than electronic, but both are really electronic music forms. I see the hip hop aspect continuing to be my focus in the future too.
Your influences?
