Maestro Lynix is experimental & Multi-Genre music, for people of all ages, races, and backgrounds.
Why this name?
I just create and experiment on my own. So since a Maestro is a composer, and arranger of music thats just what I do. Lynix is an add on name that I came up with...LOL
Do you play live?
I compose, and arrange my music on my computer using various programs. I really love making music, and I love the originality that comes with this new genre of music. Most of my special moments occur when people that are listening to it have no choice but to move to the beat, because it?s just groovy! (LOL)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think that it really has changed music history because it gives artists, such as myself a chance to shine and get noticed with out the issues of getting signed to a label, and being in a contract that you may not really want to be in, however you do it because to love what you do. Being as though I make my music from my computer gives an unlimited supply of music without the he said she said that comes along with being a "professional" artist.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would only sign on to a label,on account that my music will not change to something other than what got me here to begin with, and I keep all the rights, that my name comes with. I were to sign with a company and they wanted me to give up 50% percent or more of my rights to them I would not do it. For the reason that they are trying to be in control of my gift, and that's not ho it should be. (Although in the music industry thats how it is...In most cases LOL)
Your influences?
Honestly I'm into anything and everything that'll make you move...from a jumpin' club beat, to a slow hard-core melody.
Favorite spot?
Anywhere that I can enjoy myself, and be at peace.
