Mighty Man I said to me, 'Are you English?'
'No, I'm Mighty Man!' was the reply! This sprung from a collaboration between Poitin (www.soundclick.com/poitin) and Pavel Cengery (www.soundclick.com/mortaldestiny)at Accent studios in Pilsen, Czech Republic.Pavel was our very creative sound man for our new album, and after hearing some of our stuff was inspired to write some of his own.He very kindly invited me (Jeremy King, bodhran from Poitin)to guest on his song 'Rok' ('Year'). My first reaction on hearing the track was 'Blimey! Is that really me?' Because I was a bit surprised at the great sound he'd got out of me! Pavel has a goth/death metal studio band too,Mortal Destiny which you should also check out 'cos I tried some bodhranning on part of it !

Why this name?
We are two mighty men! Now this could be interpreted as extreme arrogance, but if you think that 'mighty' could mean 'prone to saying "might" a lot' for example, 'It might work', or,'It might be a good idea to do it this way', or 'It might not work', then that puts a whole dfferent perspective on things, doesn't it!
Do you play live?
The band exists at the moment only in the studio, but the bodhran player, Jeremy, plays and sings with the successful Celtic band Poitin which can be found elsewhere on Soundclick.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's a bit of fun, isn't it!?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Well, errrr...
Band History:
Started in March 2006 as a collaborative experiment between Pavel Cengery of Mortal Destiny(Goth/Metal) and Jeremy King of Poitin(Celtic folk)...
Your influences?
Celtic folkery with a dark metallic edge lurking in the shadows.
Favorite spot?
Hospudka v Chaloupce , Pilsen (or Plzen if you prefer) Czech Republic on a drunken Thursday night playing music with Poitin!
