I'm Martin, 26 year old singer/song writer. Have played guitar for about 14 years, and have always been a singer - starting in school choir of all places!
Why this name?
Umm..My folks chose it just over 26 years ago...hehe
Do you play live?
I play live anywhere that'll have me. I love it - it's how music should be heard. Not many special moments as yet...Playing at a 24-hr music marathon at a church in Peterborough was fantastic though.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Pros: Music massively accessable, easier for small bands to publicise.
Cons: Over saturation, lessened "quality control"

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Given the opportunity...
Band History:
I started out learning guitar simply because it was there. Progressing slowly and with little fuss, until I joined a Christian punk band a guy from my church was setting up. We were called Tunnel, and I'd like to say that we ROCKED...but we didn't really..although we were ok for a bunch of 16/17 year olds who'd never done anything like that before! 'Musical differences' (ain't it always the case??!) and the lead singer/guitarist having the audacity to go to uni, split us up after about 18 months...and since then I've been quietly writing songs myself, waiting for opportunities to play them before finally realising I should just get out there and do it on my own, which brings me to here! In recent times, I felt led to focus more on writing worship material for my church, and any others who might wish to use them! It's moving along slowly, but I like the direction! :)
Your influences?
Musical influences: Martyn Joseph, John Froud, Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, Stuart Townend
Favorite spot?
Currently I love to go up to Shipley Glen and sit and watch the sun set over the Aire Valley.
Equipment used:
Takamine 6 string guitar, Yamaha APX 12 string (which is currently broken, annoyingly!), Yamaha keyboards, Trace Elliot amp, Sennheiser mic...umm....Elixir strings
