I use my own name because Iam doing my own show at this time.

I play bars,partys,weddings etc. around Tx,Ar.,and Mo.Iam happy anywhere Iam entertaining others with music.

The internet opens many roads for an artist that cannot be heard otherwise.It also gives a place to sell their own original music.

If I had a chance I certainly would consider.

1970's - sang at Mickey Gilley's in Texas
Since then Gary has opened up for many National Acts such as:

Charlie Pride, Conway Twitty, Grandpa Jones, Linda Gail Lewis(Jerry Lee Lewis' sister)

Bobby Memphis(Elvis Impersonator), Kenny Roberts,

LeRoy VanDyke, and Jett Williams.


1980"s - Recieved awards for song writing from different talent agencies sang with different bands from NY, Florida, and Texas


1987 - opened for Dan Seals


1990's - put together my own band "Midway", which I opened for different Nashville acts like: Kenny Roberts, Johnny Paycheck, Hank Williams III, and others

1994 - opened for John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band.

2000 - opened for Jimmy Vanzant, David Crosby, and other national rockers at a Harley Davidson Rendevous.

2001 Inducted in the Hall Of Honors in the New York State Country Music Hall Of Fame

2004 - Opened up for Melvin Seals of The Greatful Dead and The Jerry Garcia Band.

2005 Nominated for The Trailblazer Award out of Texas.

2005 Inducted in the New York State Country Music Hall Of Fame with Brian Prout of Diamond Rio and Victoria Shaw a very well known top songwriter and artist from Nashville.

My influences in music are Elvis,Hank Williams,George Jones, George Strait,Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard

My favorite spot is being on stage,or anywhere Iam entertainig.

This is to everyone trying to make it in the music. Its a hard road but dont give up, dreams do come true.
