NOW GOD SEX AND MICROPHONES
I am the YO, and thats just how it is
Why this name?
I am S Kill been S kill z ever since I can remember, speed killz, used to rap at crazy speeds now, I'm just honing the craft.
Do you play live?
don't have a permanent performing home but....I mostly perform in the MI Jackson area
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Songs are more easily accessible, thats good and bad. i mean as soon as you post a song now it's just to easy to get your ideas stolen. However, since indie artists are somewhat hurt less by that kind of theft than a label, it makes us the feature of the internet.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends? However it's not a farfetched idea.
Band History:
UNICLIQUE Who's That?
'MidWest lyrical content oriented, Hip hop revolutionaries,UNICLIQUE. Wordplay is what it's all about with Youngstown Ohio's finest Hip Hop phenoms. KidMental, and S_Kill_Z are the original members of UNICLIQUE. This tandem in itself is amazing. S_Kill_z self dubbed KING of the oneliners and Kidmental A.K.A. 4thott (a true poet), definitely leave the crowd begging for more. Teaming with producers Virnun Dewayne,(talkbox extraordinaire) and KRMXN, with his new street sound UNICLIQUE seems to cover every aspect of rap. Rapping over grimy Eastcoast melodies, Dirty South drumbeats, Funk, multitalented doesn't even begin to describe or envelope their talent.'
Uniclique according to S_kill_Z:'Uniclique(Uniclique.com) started as soon as me and my little brother was born. When we actually had a name for it? 2004-2005 It started when I was writing a song about the symbolism in the prefix uni(one) as a semi-acronym (yeah we're nerds). U. (you) N. (and) I (I, me however you want to look at it), hence uniclique-you and I are one clique.'
We look forward to great things from these artists. If you have seen them live look forward to seeing alot more of them. If you haven't, don't worry you will.If you want to find out more have a look around. http://uniclique.com
