Hip-hop & R&B music for for and from my soul. I wasn't gonna release any of this music but I was told that there are some people who would want to hear it.
Why this name?
Its my nickname, Escalust is a derivative from Escobar each with different meaning. I was 'nicked' Escobar in high school, after the Columbian Cartel owner for my methods of dealing with situtations. Later the name evolved to relate to my consistant flirtation with the opposite sex. Now it is the acronym for Elevating Spiritual Consciousness and Love Utilizing Soul Technology.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows for listeners to find more 'REAL' music instead of the crap on the radio and TV. Not that its all crap, because I think the Internet has plenty of crap too. Instead, it gives some people the chance to be heard. INDEPENDANT MUSIC is the sh*t.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe...depends on the conditions...my soul is not for sale.

I've been making music from the age of about 10 with my own equipment. Since then I've perfected alot of different skills all pertaining to music.
