I compose music with wide use of electronics. I like to blend music and sound design with visual arts, short films, theatre, modern dance...
love avant-garde but I need melody: my aim is to achieve a mix of them.
I scored and "sound designed" a few modern dance and contemporary theatre plays. I'm always open to collaborate with any kind of ensemble.

Why this name?
Be prepared, this is very highbrow ;)
It derives from 'noumenon': in the philosophy of Immanuel Kant, the thing-in-itself. Kant claimed that man's speculative reason can only know phenomena and can never penetrate to the noumenon.

Do you play live?
I'm currently planning gigs. I can't wait for it: I love to improvise live!
Meanwhile I regularly play keyboards in a band (signed to an indie label).

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Music industry need to change, and in some way the Internet has already changed everything (Soundclick is one of the best examples), though the majors seems not to recognize it.
The Internet is the definitive new media! We'll be able to access songs, video and everything from it! No more need for CDs/DVDs, radio, TV...

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
...speaking in a diplomatic way: considering my genre that would be a bit difficult, let's go for an indie label!
Band History:
I started playing piano at 6 as self taught and I grew up listening to everything from the 60s and 70s (yes, I've been a sort of Pink Floyd addict). At 20 I fell in love with jazz, especially that of the more metaphysical kind (e.g. Coltrane's Transition or Ascension). I've always been a synth enthusiast, therefore I soon started to compose and listen to electronic and other fresh music.
Your influences?
Many and very different: from jazz to classical, from prog rock and psychedelic to minimalism.
A few favorites are: Pink Floyd, Björk, Radiohead, Brian Eno, Steve Reich, Erik Satie, Arvo Pärt, LFO, Plaid, Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, ...
