The Name I Love
Kip Lake has been worship leader at C.V.C. Church in the Cleveland area, as well as performing for a time at Cornerstone Community Church with his band The Lake Effect. At this time, Kip leads families in worship at C.V.C's new Blast service. His album, Songs From The Broken Heart, is his first commercial project and will be available soon.
Why this name?
Kip Lake is my real name.
Do you play live?
As it says above, I perform at the Blast service. Otherwise, I have been laying low until my C.D. comes out.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's allowing the little guys like me to have our music heard around the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe. I write all my own songs and produce everything as well as play all the parts. I like that freedom and doubt a major label would give me that.
Your influences?
I listen to everything from Seal to Delirious?.
