Andrew Longman - Blues 4 Jesus

Hi there.

I hope you like Blues Rock music with a message. If you do, then perhaps my tracks are what you're looking for.

You can find more details at my Blues 4 Jesus Home Page
Why this name?

What's in a Name?

The name of Andrew Longman was chosen for me. I think "Blues 4 Jesus" speaks for itself.
Do you play live?

Live Performances?

I don't perform these songs live - yet, but perform in the UK quite regularly with my band, the Fabulous Swampsnakes. You can check out our website Here for more details.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Hopefully, the internet and MP3s will allow artists to get heard beyond their local area.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Form an orderly queue, please.
Band History:

You can get the full details at my blues4jesus.info website, but in short, although I have been around forever, I decided to do something to share my faith as well as my music.
Your influences?

I listen to a lot of things, but Blues 4 Jesus influenced by Phil Keaggy and Glen Kaiser, musically and by my Creator spiritually!
Favorite spot?

Too many to mention, but Dorset in the UK is hard to beat.
Equipment used:

Again, too much to mention, but it includes a Gibson Melody Maker, a customer thinline Tele with P-90 pickups and a custom "Snakocaster" that I use for slide work. I have a Laney valve amp and my main pedal is the Marchall Bluesbreaker.

As far as recording is concerned, I am still experimenting.
Anything else...?
Glory to God in the highest!
