The 2nd song of HS 1 in 2008. This song shows of the immense musicality of the band with its flowing melodies that just seem to melt into one another. Many directors thought this to be one of the best region X bands in a long time.

This 2nd song of HS Band 1's concert program incorporates the sound of a Gamelan orchestra within the wind band. It is a masterpiece with exotic percussion and colorful wind writing. and is played wonderfully despite the difficulty.
the same composer who wrote the great 'santa fe saga' composed this ballad for concert band, morton gould uses the african american flavor of soul and spirit to as a principle theme in this song.
This was the last song MS Band 1 2006 played. The little kids did pretty darn good at this.
the final song by the 2001 TMEA 4A symphonic band under the conductor, anthony maeillo. has a very similiar performance to the 2005 Region X HS Band 1's playing of this march
wow. this is the best march on earth. this wuz the encore song of HS Band 1 2005. this song recieved over a minutes worth of standing ovation.
This song is just plain awesome, and extremely difficult. It was the last song for the Texas 5A Symphonic Band in 2006.

This is a great arrangement of the hit made famous by both 'Phish' and 'Violent Femmes'. It has not been played in a few years, but we may bring it back for the 06 season.
a challenging grade 4.5-5 concert band composition of john barnes chance. the baytown community band is expected to perform this piece at their april concert.
This song by Frank Ticheli combines blues harmonies, rhythms and melodic idioms , and many 'shades of blue' to create an absolutely fascinating work. REL will play it for their Spring 2007 UIL program.
The last song in REL's 07 UIL program. This was a huge challenge for the Lee band in 07, being 1 of the hardest songs in the hardest program performed by them in their history. but they also had the strength of being the best band ever to come thru.
If you have ever lived in the south or listened to country music i'm sure u've heard this tune. this is a great arrangement by Tom Waters and is a REL band/crowd favorite.
