This rampaging work is a careening chase that starts with a bang and doesn't let up until the final notes! This was a possible choice for REL's Symphonic band for their 2006 spring concert. A definite barn burner.
This is a great superbly written overture by Johannes Brahms and transcribed for band by Mark Hindsley. It has many starkly contrasting elements which make this the great piece that it is. This is to be played by the REL Symphonic band at UIL 2007.
